Welcome to Corcorans Plains – The best Wedding Venue Canberra has to offer. Set on 100 acres, we offer homestead weddings, featuring stunning landscaped ground, historic house, a huge marquee, on-site accommodation, private bbq area and a unique wedding experience.

We offer destination wedding experience at competitive prices.

Our marquee is also available for conferences and workshops and would make the perfect venue set in an idyllic location.

Approximately 1 hour from Canberra and 3 hours from Sydney – we are a great alternative to highlands weddings, offering a wide range of services.

You can create your own wedding – bring in your own caterers, music and decorations or we are happy to connect you with our fabulous locals who will help make your day a special experience.

Venue Space

Corcoran’s Plains is a grand historic estate that boasts a beautiful 1830’s four-bedroom Homestead that provides a wonderful setting for the Bride’s and Bridesmaids Wedding Eve and your Wedding Night accommodation.

Onsite you will find our stunning wedding space including a Wedding Marquee, magnificent garden, historic verandah, and more.

The Marquee

The purpose-built, Wedding Marquee is the perfect space for a beautiful Reception, seating up to 180 guests.

Approximately 24m by 10m in size, you will have the flexibility to style the area from top to bottom whether it be classical elegance, country rustic charm or pretty and whimsical, the choice is yours.

Entering through a flower-covered arch, the Marquee presents everything you have dreamt of for an intimate reception that spills out onto the manicured lawn where your guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, canapes, live entertainment and perhaps some vintage lawn games (like the French game of Boules).

The Ceremony

Shady trees, expansive lawns and colourful gardens frame the original Homestead and provide the perfect setting for your ceremony. Rain, hail or shine there are serveral spaces to have the ceremony. Options include the the outdoor lawn area either in the open or under the trees, the magnificent old Homestead and more.

The Reception

The purpose-built, Wedding Marquee is the perfect space for a beautiful Reception, seating up to 180 guests.

The Wedding Night

The Homestead is yours on your wedding night as part of our Wedding Collection package.  A continental breakfast basket is included for you to enjoy on your first morning as husband and wife.

You’ll feel welcome and pampered while you enjoy comfort, and privacy whilst staying at Corcoran’s Plains Historic Homestead.

Inclusions

Corcoran’s Plains is available for hire as your venue package, coupled with our many approved wedding suppliers and caterers.  You will have the flexibility to create your special day the way you have always imagined.

Included in your booking is:

• Accommodation in the Homestead for the Bride & Groom on their wedding night
• Ceremony in Garden area or other area of your choice in / around Venue
• Signing table & chair
• Hire of Wedding Marquee for pre-reception & reception
• Access to all garden areas, homestead verandahs, river side, old railway crossing, and other suitable property locations for photos
